Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled BlackRock Aladdin Specialist to join our team. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for optimizing and leveraging the BlackRock Aladdin platform to enhance our investment management processes. The candidate will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, implement solutions, and provide technical expertise to ensure efficient and effective use of Aladdin.

- Understanding of Asset classes such as Equities, Derivatives, Fixed Income and FX products.
- Good understanding of the Investment area i.e. Ticker, fund management, Mutual funds, ETF etc.
- Knowledge of Trading and Trade Booking lifecycle.
- Understanding of trade lifecycle.
Responsible For
- Aladdin Platform Customization - Configure & customize the Aladdin platform to meet the specific needs and requirements of clients.
- Implementation and Integration - Lead the implementation of Aladdin solutions for clients, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems.
- Troubleshooting and Support –
- Provide ongoing support for Aladdin-related issues, troubleshoot problems, and offer timely resolutions to ensure system reliability.
- Provide level 1 application support for Electronic trading
- Responsible for handling critical business incidents using the Aladdin platform.
- Escalate complex technical problems to appropriate teams for further investigation & resolution.
- Data Management - Oversee data management processes within Aladdin, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards.
- Stakeholder Management - Work closely with clients, internal teams, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver tailored Aladdin solutions.
- Training & Documentation - Maintain the Knowledge Base & document detailing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), support issues, resolutions, & best practices for future reference.
- Continuous Improvement - Stay abreast of industry trends and Aladdin updates, proposing and implementing enhancements to optimize system performance.
- Risk Management - Monitor and manage risks associated with Aladdin configurations, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards.
Job Nature
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience working with BlackRock Aladdin, with a strong understanding of its features and capabilities.
- Technical proficiency in scripting languages and familiarity with APIs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications in Aladdin or related technologies would be a plus.
